Add the best 6x9 speaker system on the planet to ordinary saddlebag lids with the Velocity OverDrive cut-in kit. This kit works with standard non-speaker lids and is loaded with the very best 6x9 and dual-stage horn-loaded tweeter. The OverDrive horn tweeter is far better sounding than bullet-style horns. This is why we use them exclusively in all of our Velocity OverDrive systems.
Designed for Competition Baggers
We built this speaker system with an entirely different approach. The Velocity OverDrive speaker system emits much more sound for every watt of amplifier power and is designed to perform in a saddlebag. Unlike other high-efficiency speaker systems out there this set is able to make use of that high efficiency at high volume levels due to a longer throw suspension and voice coil. High efficiency is no good if the speaker flys apart under heavy demand.
Built for Use With Additional Bag Woofers
The 14-LID-OverDrive is our go-to speaker system whenever using additional woofers down in the bags. This is because we designed the R690 6x9 woofers to play well with other speakers in the same bag. This includes 8-inch and 10-inch subwoofers and mid-woofers. Not only is the bass response of the R690 woofers not affected by the presence of bag woofers, but the R690 also has the motor strength and suspension to push back on the added air pressure to produce even more output on the bottom end.

This speaker kit includes a Pro Tuning kit. This dramatically simplifies tuning your Harley sound system by giving you an accurate visual display of what your sound system is doing in real time. See the video for more information.

Installation Notes
Requires some assembly. Speaker terminals are standard aftermarket and are not directly plug and play with factory speaker wiring. Made for use with aftermarket amplifiers. A digital sound processor in your system for tuning is highly recommended. The horns in this package are the best sounding horns out there but need to be equalized with a DSP to bring them down to the same level as all of the other speakers on the bike in order to get maximum performance.
