These are exceptional sounding speakers that play at very high volumes. These speakers will go toe to toe with some of the highest output speakers on the market but they sound a lot better than the average pro audio type speaker. They have an open voice coil so they are not waterproof. The cones are treated for water exposure so they will last in the rain, they just shouldn’t be used pointed straight up (like in bag lids).
Convertible
These speakers can be used in either a coax configuration or as components. If used as a component the tweeter pole unscrews from the woofer and a bullet style phase plug screws into the woofer in its place. In a Harley application we recommend using the is speaker in a coax configuration.
