Full-Scale Compression Horn Performance with a Low Profile Horn and Better Sound Quality to Boot!
This extreme output short horn tweeter from Diamond Audio has replaced the MSRPRO1 horns, which previously was better than everything else out there. The phase plug (bullet in the center) has been improved for the best sound quality of any bullet style horn, even though this horn has a shallower mounting depth. These horns are the same diameter as many other bullet-style horns on the market, but they have a much shorter body, allowing them to mount in places that other horns just won't fit.
True Story:
Diamond Audio was nice enough to invite us down to their headquarters during the design phase of these horns. We were involved in some of the decisions made regarding sound quality and mounting features. We compared these horns to all of the other popular horns on the market. There is no comparison. All of the new Diamond Audio horns, especially the M1SRT, are way better sounding and friendlier to work with (tuning and mounting) than any other manufacturer's bullet style horn. And they are stupid loud!
