The equalizer can account for whatever flash your bike currently has. The plug and play signal harness comes with load resistors built into it that dramatically improves the sound quality of your factory Harley radio.

Note: We supply an EQ file that will give you perfect frequency response as long as your radio has the factory 2 speaker/no amplifier flash (most bikes have the standard 2 speaker flash). If your bike is any other configuration or if you have had it flashed to another configuration you will need to set the EQ on the DSR1 manually or have your radio flashed back. We do not have files for alternate configurations.

This kit will work with any radio, factory or aftermarket. Optionally it even ships with plug and play signal adapters for any '14 or later Harley Davidson radio. The DSR1 also has RCA inputs as well for aftermarket radios.

Note!

The optional signal and power interface harnesses below are not required if you are using any of the amplified full systems by Rockford Fosgate that include the RFK-HD14 installation kit. These kits come with a T harness that already gives you front signal, rear signal, and power.

For all systems not using the Rockford Fosgate RFK-HD14 installation kit these harnesses are required.

Front signal harness for DSR1 Harley Davidson

This harness includes the connectors that plug into the factory radio to grab signal as well as two new plug & play speaker harnesses that go from your aftermarket amplifier back to the front speaker pods.

Note: The front plug and play harness shown is an optional part that will not ship with this item unless it is selected as an add-on at checkout for $69.99.

Optional Plug & Play Power Harness

DSR1 Power Harness

This harness supplies fused power to the DSR1 using the CB option harness that exists in all Road, Street, Electra, and Ultra Glide models even if you do not have the CB option. Along with the appropriate signal harness this makes power connections totally plug and play. Note that the only wire that will not have a plug and play connector on it is the remote out for your amplifier(s). This is a simple one wire hookup and most all amplifiers have a screw type terminal that is designed to accept a remote wire without a connector. We highly recommend this option for all Road, Street, Electra, and Ultra Glide models.

Note: Bikes that do have a factory CB option installed will need our CB "T" harness instead. You can find that harness here.

OPTIONAL Rear Plug & Play Signal Harness

Rear Harley Davidson Radio Signal Harness

If you would like to keep or enable your factory fader control, you can optionally purchase the rear signal harness for $69. Note: If your bike came from the factory with only two speakers you will need to have the radio flashed for 4 speaker operation in order to use the rear signal harness.

Rear Signal Harness for Harley Ultra Models

Ultra models do not have rear signal available at the front of the bike. The rear signal is available though at the tour pack plug near the back of the bike. We make a special harness for these bikes that gives you a "T" harness that goes in line with the tour pack and gives you both signal and speaker outputs up at the front of the bike. This harness has a 7 business day build time before shipping.
